Quantitative assessment of the gaseous radioactivity in the supply and scavenging tubes for the two-hole two-layered facemask in typical C15O (a) and sequential 15O2–C15O2 (b) inhalation scans. End-tidal carbon dioxide concentration (EtCO2) and the respiration rate (RR) (c) demonstrate stable normocapnia during the entire PET examination.
