  1. *Protocols refer to the two different ways of administration using the gravity infusion method: Protocol 1 starts the infusion rate at 100 ml/h (30 min) and increases to 200 ml/h (15 min), while Protocol 2 starts at 100 ml/h (5 min) and increases to 400 ml/h (20 min)
